Division Trip to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum  by Art

The trip took place on Saturday September 10, 2005.  The weather cooperated and even those of us who have been there many times before found new displays and had better looks at the old ones.  The antique car collectors meet and the steam equipment in the Village made it easy to forget the century let alone the current year.   Art finished a great day by leading us to Mancy's in Toledo for dinner.

Those going into the Henry Ford Museum paid homage to the Alleghany and other rail equipment:

Greenfield Village's "around the village" train was being pulled by the oldest operating steam locomotive in the US (sorry, no details are available on any of the equipment).

The roundhouse and turntable provided a lot to see:
